MESD Webinar 2020: Reducing GHG Emissions for Singapore Harbour Craft
Sustainable Maritime Environment and Energy is one the five strategic thrusts in the refreshed Singapore Maritime Research and Development (R&D) Roadmap 2030, in an overall effort to support Singapore’s aim of reducing GHG emissions and mitigating climate change. One of the headways to address the environmental impacts and achieve sustainable development is in the harbour craft community, which is ubiquitous and an integral part of Singapore’s maritime industry.
Maritime Energy & Sustainable Development (MESD) Centre of Excellence is pleased to host the 2nd annual seminar event MESD Webinar 2020: Reducing GHG Emissions for Singapore Harbour Craft. We will provide an overview of future energy options for Singapore’s harbour craft industry. Zooming into the solutions, electrification as an energy option and methanol as an alternative fuel will also be presented during the webinar.
