SMI-UTU Joint Webinar: Digital Port Ecosystem
Ports are important hubs in the logistic sector with high efficiency, security, and sustainability requirements. Digital innovation has been the main enabler to maintain competitiveness of ports in the past years, and similar to Industry 4.0, they are currently undergoing a profound transformation towards smarter ports. Ports are expected to be moving from the digitalisation of processes that take place within one port to the digital interconnection between several stakeholders in the logistics chain.
How will ports and terminals develop their operations in the future? How do digital technologies, including 5G private wireless network, help to make a smoother journey towards smarter Port 4.0? This webinar discusses the needs, enablers and drivers of port transformation and its supply chain ecosystem.
