Maritime Policy Research Grant Call on Maritime Manpower Demand-Supply Study

Launched by the Singapore Maritime Institute, the Maritime Policy Research Grant Call on Maritime Manpower Demand-Supply Study is opened from 6 March 2025 to 16 April 2025.

The aim of this grant call is to develop a robust, bottom-up econometric model incorporating manpower data from workforce records and key variables influencing labour demand and supply in the next 5 to 10 years across the maritime industry, and to formulate Policy recommendations to address challenges and capitalise on opportunities, with specific analysis on the impact of decarbonisation and digitalisation on the maritime workforce.
