Workplace safety is constantly evolving to meet the challenges of jobs in the maritime industry. It is no surprise that Artificial Intelligence (AI) is playing an increasingly important part in the instruction and assessment of trainees and their capabilities. The results are critical to maritime safety as it steers the way to training better seafarers.
The Centre of Excellence in Maritime Safety (CEMS), jointly established by the Singapore Maritime Institute and Singapore Polytechnic, believes AI has the potential to transform the training methodology, and will make a broad impact, globally!
